Meet Emily – Dog Daycare Owner & Professional Dog Trainer in Hopkinton, MA
Hi, I’m Emily Davis — founder of Em’s Doggy Days and a lifelong dog lover with over 12 years of experience working with dogs in Hopkinton and surrounding towns. My journey began in local doggy daycares, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over time, I transitioned into professional training roles at several area facilities, developing a reputation for using practical, positive methods that help dogs (and their humans!) build confidence and connection.
In 2025, I launched Em’s Doggy Days to provide personalized care and training to the community I know and love. My goal is to create a safe, structured, and positive environment where dogs can learn, socialize, build confidence, and have a good day — whether they’re here for daycare or personalized training.
When I’m not training client dogs, I’m usually spending time with my own high-energy Belgian Malinois, competing in scent work and other dog sports. You may also meet my partner, John Tappan — a lifelong Hopkinton local and fellow dog enthusiast — who often helps out.
